The Astor BioBidet BB800 offers cleaning features which can be found in a specialist wash/dry toilet but in just the seat, saving the cost of having a complete toilet fitted.
The BioBidet has a patented “1 pocket 3 nozzle” system for completed hygiene and a built-in side control panel to select the desired function and adjust water temperature and pressure.
Wash options include posterior wash, anterior wash, turbo wash with aerated water and a pulsating massage setting. Warm air after the cleaning cycle also assists with drying for comfort and convenience. The BB800 BioBidet toilet is operated by a built-in control panel on the seat.
The BioBidet automatically washes its cleaning nozzle before and after every use for maximum hygiene and has a soft close lid, heated seat, built in lime scale filter, and a deodoriser which is automatically activated when the seat is in use.
The BioBidet BB800 wash/dry toilet seat is a cost effective toilet solution which is suitable for use in Changing Places facilities.

The Astor BioBidet Supreme 1000/1000AA offers the cleaning features of a full specialist shower toilet – but in a seat.
It’s easy to convert a standard WC into an automatic wash dry toilet with the BioBidet when self-cleaning is difficult.
The BioBidet seat includes a patented 3 in 1 retractable, oscillating nozzle for maximum hygiene and the gives powerful posterior wash, anterior wash, turbo wash with aerated water and even has a pulsating massage setting. Once the cleaning cycle is complete, a stream of warm air provides gentle drying.
The BioBidet BB1000 with soft close lid and heated seat, has a built in filter which protects against lime scale build up, and a deodoriser which is automatically activated when the seat is occupied.
This wash/dry bidet is operated by a convenient remote control which allows the user to personalise functions including water temperature and pressure which can be operated independently or by the carer. However, here at Astor-Bannerman we can offer the BB1000AA which is specifically for assisted use in conjunction with a commode style BioChair.

The Astor Compact DCII dementia friendly height adjustable bath is the first bath specifically designed for use within a dementia care setting. The unique auto lockout ensures that the water cannot be accidentally turned on and that the bath features are immobilised. The bath has a built in auto-fill system to enable the carer to set the bathwater running unattended, without the risk of overfill.

The unique Detachable Seat System for the Compact range of Astor-Bannerman Care baths is a fantastic new option to assist with the ease of patient handling and bathing. The clever system allows a resident to be wheeled from their room in the seat fixed to the transfer chassis, as they would in a wheel chair, safely secured with a lap belt and side nursing arms. Residents can then be wheeled alongside the bath to enable the fixed arm on the bath to be connected to the seat. Safely secured, the transfer chassis can be removed and the seat becomes an integrated bath seat that can safely transfer the bather into the bath. At the end of the bath, the reverse allows a bather to be efficiently manoeuvred out of the bath on the seat, for the transfer chassis to be engaged, and for the bather to wrapped in a robe and quickly wheeled back to their room to be changed in the comfort of their own room. The seat also has a commode option. When the seat is out of the bath, a flexible headrest can be fitted to the bath arm to convert it into a comfortable standard bath with headrest.

The Elexo is an electric height adjustable shower-toilet chair designed to allow easy control and manoeuvrability for the carer whilst maintaining maximum comfort for the resident.
The ease of operation and flexibility in seat positioning minimises the risk of carer back strain. At its highest position, the resident sat in the chair is at eye-level with their caregiver which allows for positive interaction and easy communication, and minimises strain caused by awkward bending. This height also allows the chair to be manoeuvred directly over a toilet. At its maximum height, the chair can also be tilted via the handset to an angle of 17 degrees – the optimum seating balanced position. The chair can then be lowered to 50cm from the ground to allow for safer transfers.
