The Astor OB (Over Bath stretcher), designed for use with fixed height baths, is a simple space saving solution to changing.
The frame is made from rustproof stainless steel and the stretcher a non-rip high tension vinyl material, anti-microbe treated and with drainage holes. Sturdy adjustable support legs fold down automatically when the stretcher is lowered. The complete unit folds up against the wall when not in use, held in place by an automatic locking system, allowing the bath to be used as normal and making maximum use of the space available.
The Astor OB is available in a range of sizes from 1200 mm to 1900 mm x 800 mm or can be made to your individual requirements.
Whilst designed to be fixed over a bath, this stretcher can easily be fixed elsewhere in a bathroom at a comfortable working height for the care giver, making it a versatile care bench for bathrooms and wet rooms.
